Bay Street Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. A wonderful spot close to Bay Street Reservoir is Cave Gulch, and going for a hike along the Rincon Fire Road Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Cove. So much fun stuff to do at Bay Street Reservoir, so little time. A pleasant visit to Lighthouse Field is a nice way to spend an afternoon, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Summit Trail.
Bay
Street Reservoir mostly gets much rainfall; most of the rain falls through January, and the driest of the months is July. Antonelli Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit, and getting to Carbonera Creek from Bay Street Reservoir
is simple. Camping at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is always a great experience, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Santa Cruz-Watsonville for sure.
A pleasant nearby hotel is Babbling Brook Inn; on a beautiful
day you can stop by Cowell Beach. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Santa Cruz Mountains. The Sequoia Nature Trail is a tremendous hiking trail in close proximity to Bay Street Reservoir. Just
can't get enough of Bay Street Reservoir. San Lorenzo River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by; Pasatiempo Golf Club is a splendid golf course close by.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Swamps are interesting places and Nearys Lagoon right next door to Bay Street Reservoir is no exception, and camping is available at Cotillion Gardens Trailer Park.
