Go to Bay Street Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at Bay Street Reservoir you can take a hike along the Sequoia Nature Trail; you could always look at Cave Gulch. Be careful coming to Bay Street Reservoir, you might not ever want to return back home again. While you're here at Bay Street Reservoir you can take a hike along the Summit Trail; if you need a place to stay Babbling Brook Inn is a tremendous

| | choice. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Ocean Pacific Lodge; the great people of Santa Cruz-Watsonville like to hang out close by.
And that's not all the things you can do here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Nearys Lagoon is right close by; Cowell Beach is relatively close by if you're in a beach type of mood. Take a side visit to Carbonera Creek, and you ought to explore Mitchell Cove when you're here. Summertime at Bay Street Reservoir
comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are usually in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Bay Street Reservoir. This lake is located
in the wonderful Santa Cruz Mountains.
Bay Street Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is January, and July on the other hand is the driest. And if that's not enough there's a heap more
cool things to do in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Everybody loves Lighthouse Field; an afternoon playing golf at Pasatiempo Golf Club is always a diversion. Just can't get enough of the Santa Cruz Mountains. A tremendous site for whitewater
paddling near Bay Street Reservoir is San Lorenzo River, and camping at Cotillion Gardens Trailer Park is always a great experience.
Get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of San Lorenzo River, and you can hit the
beach if you want, Santa Cruz Beach is practically right here. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Bay Street Reservoir. While you're here at Bay Street Reservoir, you could also take a look at wonderful Schwan Lagoon; if you came to camp Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is a perfect place to do that.
