     Baum Lake is always a pleasure to visit. An average amount of rain falls at Baum Lake; December is the month that gets the most snow; the driest of the months is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Cassel Campground is a great campground nearby, and going for a hike along the Bunchgrass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
 
   Lakes are brilliant; Rising River Lake is a lake that's next to Baum Lake, and Baum Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Dusty Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby. Rock Spring is always fun to check out, and whitewater paddling is great on Pit River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range.
For the duration of the months of summer at Baum Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's
 
               generally in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Baum Lake. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll like Baum Lake. Take a little journey to Rising River since you're here at Baum Lake, and the panoramas at Lassen Volcanic National Park will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful. You're most likely hooked on lakes, Crystal Lake is one of those close by, and a round of golf at nearby Fall River Valley Golf & Country Club is a delightful way to kill some time.

...inutes away as is fly fishing in the Hat Creek trophy area and Baum Lake. Burney Falls and lake Britton are about 23 miles away.

A 4 1/2 star golf course is about 30 minutes in Fall River Mills. The north entrance of Lassen National Park is a short 20 minute drive and Subway Cave, a volcanic formed tube , is a 5 minute drive. Another attraction to this area is the Thousand Lake Wilderness area, hiking and beautiful scenery are part of the experience in this remote wilderness area. If you aren't up to all these activities you can just relax here in the park, watching the ducks in the lake and the fish jumping or fish for our trophy rainbow trout with barbless flies or barbless singe hook spinners. Our lake Catherine is catch and release only.

All of our RV sites are full hookups, which include water, sewer, electric, cable and 2 hours of free wi-fi. We have a rec-hall for our guests to gather for groups or family gatherings. There is a nice area that has picnic tables for gatherings with a large BBQ for our guests to use.
