An average amount of rain falls at Baum Lake; December is the month that gets the most snow; the driest of the months is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Cassel Campground is a great campground nearby, and going for a hike along the Bunchgrass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.       Lakes are brilliant; Rising River Lake is a lake that's next to Baum Lake, and Baum Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Dusty Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby. Rock Spring is always fun to check out, and whitewater paddling is great on Pit River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. For the duration of the months of summer at Baum Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's                  generally in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Baum Lake. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll like Baum Lake. Take a little journey to Rising River since you're here at Baum Lake, and the panoramas at Lassen Volcanic National Park will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful.
