The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Cold Spring; camping is available at Butte Creek Campground. Bathtub Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. So many cool things to do here at Bathtub Lake, too fine to be true. You can make out Cinder Cone from Bathtub Lake, and some exciting geology is available here, Fantastic Lava Beds is right here. This lake is so wonderful.       There is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to Bathtub Lake called the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16; if you came for an overnight stay Benner Creek Campground is a splendid place to camp. Going for a hike on the Hanna Trail is always a tremendous adventure; dry warm beds await you at Bailey Creek Cottages. Through the summertime, highs usually are in the 90's at Bathtub Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the                  40's. Highs all through the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Bathtub Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. Around Bathtub Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is January, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene locations, why not visit Butte Lake next to Bathtub Lake. Be careful coming to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. Go for a hike on the Childs Meadows Trail, and Best Western Rose Quartz is a tremendous place to get some rest. That right there is a heap of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all.
