There are brilliant spots to discover along the Lake Ranch Trail, and unsurprisingly, this is a brilliant neighborhood for people who like lakes, Hagmaier Pond South is a lake nearby. Yeah, come here to Bass Lake for a glorious time. A great close by hotel is Four Points By Sheraton San Rafael, and don't forget to check out Abalone Point while you're here. If you want to hit the beach, Palomarin Beach is in close proximity. If you feel like a little side trip, try Cottinham Gulch, and on a delightful day it's a pleasant idea to spend the day at Wildcat Beach. 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Bass Lake.
Take a little trip to Alamere Creek if you're here at Bass Lake, and a great site to camp here at Bass Lake is Glen Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Muir Woods
National Monument is a very nice place to go to in close proximity to Bass Lake; if you need a place to stay Mill Valley Inn is a perfect choice. Don't leave Bass Lake without first going for a hike along the Wildcat Trail, and do
put some time aside to spend at Alamere Falls while you're here at Bass Lake.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Bass Lake a wet location; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is July.
