If you are in Madera county it's always a good idea to stop by Bass Lake. This place, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting things. Bass Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Skylake Yosemite Camp is a great local campground, and Salter Creek is in the vicinity of Bass Lake and is always a diversion to visit. | | National Park is reasonably close to Bass Lake; naturally, A visit to Crane Valley is always fun. The warmest time of the year at Bass Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's while Bass Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's.

gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Wishon Cove is not far from Bass Lake at all; after a long day outdoors Best Western Yosemite Gateway Inn is a glorious spot to spend a night
or two. So much fun stuff to do here at Bass Lake, too delightful to be true. Going for a hike on the Chilnualna Fall Trail is always a fine adventure, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Manzanita Lake is just
a very short distance away.
There's so much to do here at Bass Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wishon Point Campground is a perfect place for that, and Graham Meadow is a delightful spot. This lake is so wonderful.
The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
A great close by hotel is Oakhurst Days Inn; Willow Creek is a splendid whitewater spot nearby.
