This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel is a glorious place to get some rest, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Trailside Inn is a fine location to spend a night or two. At Barry Reservoir throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets       highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Barry Reservoir during the wintertime ordinarily descend into the 10's. All year is a delightful time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you like the outdoors. If you came for an overnight stay Gurnsey Creek - Lassen National Forest is a good place to camp, and you could always explore Hidden Valley. Barry Reservoir gets a typical amount of rainfall; all through January this area sees the most snow, and the driest month                  is July. Why not camp at Christie Campground - Lassen National Forest while you're here at Barry Reservoir; lakes are such calm places, why not stop by Ridenoure Reservoir.
