Many people like to go to Barrett Lakes. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area near Barrett Lakes has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Willow Campground is a fine place to camp, and there's good hiking along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Summertime highs at Barrett Lakes mostly tend to be in the 90's. River - Middle Fork; why not take a refreshing hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of Mount Agassiz from Barrett Lakes is scenic, and since you're here, you could also take a look
at stunning Bishop Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Bishop is a delightful location to spend a night or two; going to Devils Postpile National Monument is
just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Cataract Creek flows through this area, and locations like Deer Meadow are great to stop at. At Barrett Lakes you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month.
