The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. During the warm months highs here at Barrett Lake get into the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Barrett Lake night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. Just can't get enough of the Southern Cascade Range. | | Bunchgrass Trail is always a perfect adventure. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Barrett Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bunchgrass Campground; Eiler Butte is pretty and can be spotted from here. Barrett Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; during the month of January you get the most snow around here; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Barrett Lake | |

is a great place to visit for more than one day, Cypress Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and do pay a visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park while you're here at Barrett Lake. Bailey Creek Cottages is a nice site to get
some rest, and there are glorious places to look at along the Chaos Crags Trail. Durbin Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by; get wet paddling on Pit River. This lake is so wonderful. Cornaz Spring is always fun to check
out, and a lake nearby is Box Lake. But wait, there's more to do next to Barrett Lake. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Pit River, and you can go for a hike on the Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail.

A 4 1/2 star golf course is about 30 minutes in Fall River Mills. The north entrance of Lassen National Park is a short 20 minute drive and Subway Cave, a volcanic formed tube , is a 5 minute drive. Another attraction to this area is the Thousand Lake Wilderness area, hiking and beautiful scenery are part of the experience in this remote wilderness area. If you aren't up to all these activities you can just relax here in the park, watching the ducks in the lake and the fish jumping or fish for our trophy rainbow trout with barbless flies or barbless single hook spinners. Our lake Catherine is catch and release only.
All of our RV sites are full hookups, which include water, sewer, electric, cable and 2 hours of free wi-fi. We have a rec-hall for our guests to gather for groups or family gatherings.
