Fourth of July Flat is a great place to check out, and Lost Lake is a good lake close by. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too glorious to be true. Have a good hiking adventure along the Highland Trail; skiing at Sierra at Tahoe is one of those things you just should do. From a rainfall point       of view Barrett Lake is a quite typical place; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Barrett Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Barrett Lake. Yeah, come here to Barrett Lake for a good time. All year is a good time in the Northern                  Sierra Nevada if you go for the outdoors. A gorgeous lake like Lawrence Lake in close proximity to Barrett Lake is a great place to go to, and if you came for an overnight stay Pyramid Campground is a magnificent location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Pine Cone Acre Motel is a pleasant choice; good skiing awaits you at Homewood. Barrett Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. So many enjoyable things to do here at Barrett Lake, too great to be true. A wonderful place for whitewater paddling close to Barrett Lake is American River - South Fork, and Barrett Lake lays in the shadow of the Crystal Range. Hiking along the Red Peak Trail is brilliant fun, and at Barrett Lake you can spot Crystal Range. This lake is so wonderful.
