    Barney Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Barney Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. Barney Lake is a brilliant place to camp, Paho Campground is a brilliant place, and Barney Lake is not the only place nearby, Crown Lake is a nearby lake. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada. If you need a spot to stay Ruby Inn is a great choice.
This lake is so
 
   wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Barney Lake has to offer, you can camp at Buckeye Campground; going for a hike on the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Around Barney Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; January is the month that gets the most snow, and September is the month with the least moisture. Having a brilliant time at Barney Lake is trouble-free. There are delightful places to discover along  
               the Ten Lakes Trail, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Tuolumne River.
Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is plentiful here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Near Barney Lake you locate the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 which is a great hiking trail, and get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of West Walker River. Little Slide Canyon is a magnificent site to visit close to Barney Lake, and you can see Cirque Mountain from Barney Lake. Summertime highs at Barney Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's.
