Barley Lake is a relatively wet place ordinarily with much rainfall; through January this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Pogie Point Campground is always a delightful experience, and Eel River is a great whitewater spot nearby. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Barley Lake reach the 90's, and       the nighttime is fairly colder of course, regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Barley Lake. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Klamath Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Buttermilk Trail; Bald Mountain can be made out from Barley Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Barley Lake; Crooked Tree Trail is a pleasant                  local trail, and a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Black Butte River. Barley Lake is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. All the outdoors amusing things near Barley Lake will keep you coming back over and over.
