This lake is so wonderful. The Buena Vista Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Bare Island Lake, and do explore Iron Lakes, it's a striking lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area in the neighborhood of Bare Island Lake has to offer. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling close to Bare Island Lake is Merced River - South Fork; you'll find a delightful lake called Junction Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Bare Island Lake. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Willow Creek, and going for a hike along the Chilnualna Fall Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
