Go to Bard Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Bard Lake is a magnificent location to camp, RV Sand and Sea is a magnificent location, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Ventura Simi Valley. The Whiteacre Peak Trail is a glorious hiking trail close to Bard Lake, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in close proximity to Bard Lake.

you're a golfer then a great close by course is Tierra Rejada Golf Course. Bard Lake gets very little rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July.
This lake is so wonderful.
Near Bard Lake you stumble on the Devil Canyon Trail which is a great hiking trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Bard Lake while night lows are mostly in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are generally
in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Bard Lake. If the weather is good here at Bard Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pothole Trail, and Bard Lake is near Sycamore Canyon which is positively worth stopping at.
