Near Bard Lake you stumble on a golf course called Foothills Golf Course, and if you came for an overnight stay El Prado Estates RV Park is a splendid location to camp. Here at Bard Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Yuma, and Fisher's Landing is a great campground nearby. Bard Lake gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and June is the month with       the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites YUMA is a glorious spot to spend a night or two; a lake nearby is Haughtelin Lake. Be careful coming to Bard Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. During the long summer days at Bard Lake temperatures are mostly in the 100's with overnight lows in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and after the sun is                  down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Bard Lake fall into the 30's.
