If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Banner Reservoir. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Banner Reservoir. A nice nearby hotel is Best Western Gold Country Inn, and why not camp at Aspen Group - Tahoe National Forest since you're here at Banner Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Piety Hill Cottages is a splendid choice, and Idaho-Maryland Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to.

| | Banner Reservoir is near Eagle Ravine which is beyond doubt worth stopping at, and if you're here, you could also go to beautiful Herring Reservoir. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. There is a delightful hiking trail near Banner Reservoir called the Humbug Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Yuba River - South Fork. and needless to say Gold Run is a pretty stream that is worth a visit. And if that's not enough there's lots more entertaining things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. At Banner Reservoir you can spot Sugarloaf Mountain; on a brilliant
day you can take a hike along the South Yuba Trail. During the warm months at Banner Reservoir highs are generally in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter
nights come with lows in the 20's to Banner Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Faucherie - Tahoe National Forest, and a golf course close by is Nevada County Country Club. Banner Reservoir is a beautiful
lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You're sure to encounter some great folks from Truckee-Grass Valley here. A large amount of rain falls at Banner Reservoir; most of the rain falls during January; the driest of the months is July.
