Ballona Lagoon is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps can be such interesting places, go to Ballona Wetlands since you're here at Ballona Lagoon; after a long day outdoors Marriott Marina Beach is a great place to spend a night or two. Don't forget to take a nice little journey to Ballona Creek; Oakwood Marina Del Rey is a delightful place to get some rest. Valley Trails Camp is a tremendous local campground.

All through the summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Ballona Lagoon
with overnight lows in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Ballona Lagoon are in the 40's. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt Waterman if you're here, and a visit to Venice Beach is always a brilliant idea.
