At Ballona Lagoon you don’t see much precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. This place is unbeatable, just look at all the enjoyable things to do in the neighborhood of Ballona Lagoon.       There's so much to do here at Ballona Lagoon that you need to camp here for a while, Valley Trails Camp is a nice spot for that, and there are swamps here too, Ballona Wetlands is around here. For the duration of the summertime, highs typically are in the 70's at Ballona Lagoon. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 60's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Ballona Lagoon temperatures                  dip to the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Marriott Marina Beach. Lakes are such calm places, why not check out Mount Olivet Reservoir in close proximity to Ballona Lagoon, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt Waterman while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Ballona Creek if you're here at Ballona Lagoon; Basin B has brilliant water scenery. There are other places here than Ballona Lagoon, for example Del Rey Lagoon, and you can hit the beach if you want, Santa Monica State Beach is practically right here.
