If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Baldwin Lake. Summertime highs at Baldwin Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Baldwin Lake. Lake Chateau is a nice choice, and a golf course close by is Big Bear Mountain Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Baldwin Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario.
This lake is so wonderful. Caribou Creek is a glorious spot to stop by, and do put some time aside to spend at Canyon Spring if you're here at Baldwin Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Stay the night at Holcomb
Valley Campground, and tremendous hiking is available along the South Fork Trail. Don't leave Baldwin Lake without first going for a hike along the Seven Oaks Trail, and stunning scenery and good skiing is what you get at Snow Summit.
A wonderful close by hotel is Big Bear Lake Cabins, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Baldwin Lake; Fish Creek Trail is a tremendous local trail.
