Not far from Bald Ridges Reservoir, you'll come across Buckhorn Waterhole which is a delightful lake; Bald Ridges Reservoir is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Ash Creek Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hotel Mt. Lassen is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Prison Spring Campground. Bald       Ridges Reservoir gets a typical amount of precipitation; during December this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. During the days of summer highs here at Bald Ridges Reservoir reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bald Ridges Reservoir.
