     If you need a place to stay Bailey Creek Cottages is a perfect choice; camping at Belden Campground is always a brilliant experience. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A glorious vista of gorgeous Bald Eagle Mountain is available from Bald Eagle Lake, and do take a hike on the Carter Meadow Trail. The annual rain here at Bald Eagle Lake is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most  
   snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. Hiking along the Cleghorn Bar Trail is delightful fun, and Bald Eagle Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Three Lakes Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Best Western Rose Quartz Inn, and if you don't mind getting
 
               dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Feather River - North Fork.
Bald Eagle Lake is right by the Yellow Creek Trail; Bald Eagle Lake is not the only site close by, Three Lakes is a close by lake. Bald Eagle Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Throughout the warm months at Bald Eagle Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Bald Eagle Lake.
All year is a good time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you love the outdoors. Bald Eagle Lake is in the vicinity of Bear Ravine which is absolutely worth taking a look at; a lake nearby is Blue Lake.

Cool Springs Campground is owned by PG&E and managed by American Land and Leisure (AL&L). You may contact AL&L, at 530-284-1785, from May to October. No reservations are taken for camping. Cool Springs is generally open from early May through mid-September. The heaviest use is between mid-June through mid-August. Butt Lake is a great fishing lake. Motorboats are allowed but no skiing or jet skis. There is a nice rock\sand beach for playing....
