There's so much to do here at Baker Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Hawk's Nest is a great spot for that, and needless to say, all our national parks are delightful places to stop by and Lava Beds National Monument is no exception. For the duration of the long summer days at Baker Reservoir highs are typically in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the duration of       the winter the highs are generally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Baker Reservoir are in the 10's. So many exciting things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range, too splendid to be true. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Baker Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Willow Valley Campground, and if you get bored of Baker Reservoir you could also stop at nearby Mud Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern                  Cascade Range. Sage Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; after a long day outdoors Majestic Inn and Suites is a splendid place to spend a night or two.
