     There's no way anyone can get bored here in the San Bernardino Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn San Bernardino-University Parkway; you're most likely interested in lakes, Sycamore Percolation Basin is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Miller Canyon Trail is always a good adventure, and pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Snow Valley. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Bernardino  
   Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Country Inn San Bernardino is a tremendous choice; there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Cable Canyon Trail. Skiing at Mt. Baldy is one of those things you just have to do. The panorama of Badger Hill from Badger Percolation Basin is beautiful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Badger Percolation Basin has to offer, you can camp at Camp Seely La City Recreation.
 
               High temperatures at Badger Percolation Basin during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's while night lows are frequently in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Badger Percolation Basin. So much exciting stuff to do in the San Bernardino Mountains, not sufficient time. There are glorious spots to discover along the McKinley Firebreak; Badger Canyon is positively a perfect location to stop by. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Badger Percolation Basin. The summits of the Shandin Hills add much beauty to the area around Badger Percolation Basin, and if you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Shandin Hills Golf Club.
Stay the night at Manor Trailer Park; possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, North Badger Basin is just a very short distance away. An average amount of rainfall falls at Badger Percolation Basin; January is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is June.

This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking. For these particular mountains, it is imperative that the hiker carry a compass (and know how to use it) and topographic map....
