    Why not stop by Badger Lakes if you're passing through these parts. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. A beautiful lake like Agnew Lake near Badger Lakes is a glorious site to have a look at, and going for a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail is always a glorious adventure. What would winter be without some skiing at June Mountain; Spooky Meadow is a delightful location to stretch your legs a bit. Badger Lakes is  
   located in the Central Sierra Nevada.
This lake is so wonderful. Very beautiful scenery and good skiing is what you get at Mammoth Mountain, and nearby you stumble on the John Muir Trail - section 2 which is a great hiking trail. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight stay Grant Lake Marina-campground is a wonderful place to camp; Agnew Pass is beyond doubt a splendid place to visit.
Just can't
 
               get enough of Badger Lakes. Crest Creek is a charming stream that is worth taking a look at; dry warm beds await you at 1849 Condos at Canyon Lodge. Camping is available at Trailer Park Campground, and a splendid location for whitewater paddling is San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to look at along the Mammoth Rock Trail, and Heidelberg Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest.
During the summer months here at Badger Lakes, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 40's while Badger Lakes nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Badger Lakes is a good site of common rain; January is the month that gets the most rain; June is the month with the least moisture.
