Through the warm months at Babs Lake temperatures are typically in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Babs Lake. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not pop by Wicks Lake close to Babs Lake, and if you came to camp Idlewild Campground is a great place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. | | wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Scott River, and splendid hiking is available along the Garden Gulch Trail. Be careful coming to Babs Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Baymont Inn & Suites Yreka is a great spot to get some rest, and Salmon River is a splendid whitewater spot close by. a hike on the Deacon Lee Trail. There's so much to do here at Babs Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mule Bridge Campground is a glorious place for that, and there are great places to discover along the Tanners Peak Trail.
All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Babs Lake generally gets a lot of rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Babs Lake is located in the Klamath Mountains.
