In California there are many beautiful lakes, Babs Lake is one of them. Babs Lake is located in the Klamath Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Klamath Mountains for a great time. A magnificent place to camp here at Babs Lake is Idlewild Campground, and the Tanners Peak Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. High temperatures at Babs Lake through the days of summer are in the 90's with night lows in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are usually in

| | the 40's while Babs Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's.
Near Babs Lake you locate the Deacon Lee Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on Scott River. Babs Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is when it's the driest. Yeah, come here to Babs Lake for a splendid time.

Baymont Inn Yreka is a good place to spend a night or two, and camping at Mule Bridge Campground is always a tremendous experience. Going for a hike on the Garden Gulch Trail is always a delightful adventure, and if you come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some splendid whitewater.
