A spree to Devils Postpile National Monument is recommended, and perfect hiking is available along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on San Joaquin River - South       Fork; there's brilliant hiking along the Kings River Trail. Baboon Lakes is a location that is quite waterless regularly; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is June. After a long day outdoors Bishop-Days Inn is a great location to spend a night or two, and do take a look at Darwin Creek if you're here at Baboon Lakes.
