If you came for an overnight stay Tenaya Lake Campground is a brilliant location to camp, and after a long day outdoors The Ahwahnee is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summertime, highs frequently are in the       80's at Babcock Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's while Babcock Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Tenaya Creek, and Yosemite National Park is a very glorious site to check out. Dry warm beds await you at dnc -- Wawona Hotel; you're perhaps keen on lakes, Emeric Lake                  is one of those nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. While you're here at Babcock Lake you can take a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 1, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Badger Pass is pretty near. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Central Sierra Nevada is peerless! If the weather is tremendous here at Babcock Lake, you can go for a hike along the Clouds Rest Trail, and Upper Pines Campground is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Babcock Lake you can take a hike along the Half Dome Trail; there's whitewater on Yosemite Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Cathedral Fork is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. Lakes are brilliant; Merced Lake is a lake that's right next door to Babcock Lake.
