Clouds Rest Trail, and Upper Pines Campground is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Babcock Lake you can take a hike along the Half Dome Trail; there's whitewater on Yosemite Creek for all you
adrenaline rush seekers. Cathedral Fork is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. Lakes are brilliant; Merced Lake is a lake that's right next door to Babcock Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada.
