A short tour to White Tank Spring is always worthwhile, and hiking along the Bobs Flat Trail is nice fun. You absolutely have to fancy the Central Sierra Nevada. Places like Tivy Valley are magnificent to have a look at, and of course Fish Creek flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Sherwood Forest Golf Course; Avocado Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, River Bend

| | Mobile Home Park is a pleasant local campground. It is very arid here at Avocado Lake frequently; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Camping and Boating. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Americana. Lakes are splendid; Wahtoke Lake is a lake that's close to Avocado Lake. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Avocado Lake. There are some splendid whitewater
spots on Little Dry Creek, and not far from Avocado Lake you'll come across Pine Flat Lake which is a pretty lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. All through the days of summer at Avocado
Lake temperatures are commonly in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Avocado Lake temperatures
drop to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kings River, and going for a hike along the Deep Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.

Dorabelle Campground - Sierra National Forest
 | 16 miles away The campground was very nice, walking distance to the lake, nice size lots with extra space to play games, etc. Beautiful trees and scenery, many acitivies to do, hiking, bike riding, swimming, horse back riding among other things. The only disadvantage is there are no showers, we had to go to the next camp ground, Camp Edision to shower for a small fee but other than that it was great, also the staff is extra friendly and very helpful.... |
