Pine Flat Lake is a lake       around here, and Avocado Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Lakeridge Camping and Boating is a magnificent place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kings River, and River Bend Mobile Home Park is a great local campground. It is very dried up here at Avocado Lake regularly; the month with most of the rain is March while July is typically the driest month. Yeah, come up here to the Central                  Sierra Nevada for a magnificent time. There are some good whitewater spots on Little Dry Creek, and since you're here at Avocado Lake it's a delightful idea to pop by Tivy Valley. Nearby lakes? Sure, Wahtoke Lake is in the neighborhood of Avocado Lake; don't leave Avocado Lake without first paying a visit to White Tank Spring. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Fish Creek is a stream that you may run into during your stay; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Sherwood Forest Golf Course. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. High temperatures at Avocado Lake all through the warm days of summer are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 50's with temperatures at Avocado Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
