Averys Pond gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; through the month of January you get the most rain around here; July on the other hand is the driest. Summertime at Averys Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Averys Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Averys Pond is good enough       to spend more than a day at, Bowman Mobile Home and Park is a good local campground; a pleasant place is Horseshoe Bar. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Auburn, Ca is a great place to spend a night or two; there are some great whitewater spots on American River - South Fork. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near Averys Pond. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Indian Creek Country Club. Here at Averys                  Pond you'll possibly meet some folks from Sacramento—Arden-Arcade—Roseville; get yourself into a kayak and hit American River - North Fork.
