    Why not stop by Avalanche Lake if you're passing through these parts. While you're here at Avalanche Lake, you could also stop at lovely Ice Lake; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Gaylor Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Finger Peaks is easily spotted from Avalanche Lake, and while you're here, you could stop at Blacksmith Creek. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you need a site to  
   stay Yosemite Gateway Motel is a delightful choice, and whitewater paddling is nice on Tuolumne River.
Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Avalanche Lake. You'll locate a stunning lake called Glacier Lake near Avalanche Lake, and West Walker River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. Avalanche Lake gets very little rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
 
               Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. Horsetail Falls is an inspiring place to stop at while you're here, and if you came to camp Paho Campground is a splendid location to do that. Avalanche Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Avalanche Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Doc and Al's Robinson Creek Resort is a magnificent local campground, and going for a hike along the Ten Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
You might want to pay a visit to Burro Pass if you're here at Avalanche Lake, and hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 is delightful fun. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Avalanche Lake. Summer night lows plunge down to the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Avalanche Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's.
