    Beautiful Avalanche Lake has much to offer visitors. So much exciting stuff in the vicinity of Avalanche Lake, definitely phenomenal. Camping is available at Kokanee Campground; do take a hike on the Deep Creek Trail. If you need a site to stay Juniper Springs Resort is a delightful choice, and glide down the rapids of Dinkey Creek in a kayak. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is abundant here in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you get bored of Avalanche Lake,  
   you could also take a look at nearby Bobby Lake, and get soaked paddling on San Joaquin River.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Mountain Trail, and a good location to camp here at Avalanche Lake is Sample Meadow Campground. A splendid vista of picturesque Kaiser Peak is available from Avalanche Lake, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Sierra Summit. Avalanche Lake gets a normal amount of annual
 
               rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture.

For the period of the summer months, highs frequently are in the 70's at Avalanche Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
