January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. This location is so good, just look at all the fun things to do next to Atascadero Lake. Chalk Mountain Golf Course is a wonderful golf course nearby, and if you have time, Pinnacles National Monument is a national park worth stopping at.
