All the water falling down from the sky makes Aspen Lake a wet spot; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Nearby lakes? nearby. Through the summer months here at Aspen Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are commonly
in the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Aspen Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Yreka. There's splendid hiking along the Deacon Lee Trail,
and camping is available at Indian Scotty Campground. So many amusing things in the neighborhood of Aspen Lake, definitely fantastic. Go for a hike on the Tanners Peak Trail, and a fine spot to camp here at Aspen Lake is Spring Flat Campground.
