If you are traveling by, why not stop by Aspen Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Boulder Peak is clearly visible from Aspen Lake, and Aspen Lake sits in the shade of the Marble Mountains. There's delightful hiking along the Deacon Lee Trail, and a pleasant site to camp here at Aspen Lake is Spring Flat Campground. Having a great time in the Klamath Mountains is easy. | | for nearby lakes? Sure, Buckhorn Lake is just a very short distance away. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Don't leave Aspen Lake without first going for a hike along the Garden Gulch Trail; there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you thrill seekers. can go for a hike on the Tanners Peak Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. Camping is available at Indian Scotty Campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend
Scott River. This lake is so wonderful. The high level of rainfall makes Aspen Lake a rather wet place; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 90's
to Aspen Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Aspen Lake.
