Beautiful Asa Lake has much to offer visitors. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a splendid time. A visit to Bear Tree Meadow revives the soul, and one of the overriding traits of the surroundings of Asa Lake is Arnot Peak. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day at Asa Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and skiing at Bear Valley is one of those things

A great deal of precipitation falls at Asa Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that snows the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Asa Lake. Lower Highland Dam is a spot that is in close proximity to Asa Lake, and a delightful place to camp here at Asa Lake is Bloomfield Campground.

Kinney Reservoir is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Asa Lake, and going for a hike on the Corral Valley Trail is always a good adventure. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Kirkwood, and obviously, this is a
splendid area for folks who like lakes, Bull Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Asa Lake. Since you're here at Asa Lake why not go to Wolf Creek Pass; if you need a site

Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return home again. There is a fine hiking trail near Asa Lake called the Silver King Trail,
and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Gardnerville. High temperatures at Asa Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. High temperatures
during the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Asa Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Carson River - East Fork has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby; camping at Highland Lakes Campground is always a fine experience.
