Dry warm beds await you at The Mountain Club, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Kirkwood is next to Asa Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Corral Valley Trail. This lake is so wonderful. One of the overriding characteristics of the surroundings of Asa Lake is Arnot Peak, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Gardnerville/Carson       City is a great choice. Take a hike on the Silver King Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Bloomfield Campground is a magnificent location to camp. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Asa Lake is great!. All year is a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you go for the outdoors. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Bull Lake near Asa Lake, and the snow is splendid at Bear Valley.
