The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Arts Pond. A great nearby hotel is Days Inn Red Bluff, and Dewitt Peak is a peak you can spot from Arts Pond. place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Hidden Harbor Marina Resort is always a good experience, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Antelope Creek.
The Graham Trail offers hiking at its best. Lakes? Sure, Horseshoe Pond is in close proximity. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too magnificent to be true. Get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater
of Deer Creek; don't forget to take a nice little visit to Little North Fork North Fork Dye Creek. This lake is so wonderful. At Arts Pond you always meet someone from Red Bluff.

 | 17 miles away Went fly fishing there for a day, it was great. Were leaving today to go on a camping trip there....Black Rock is a very beautiful place to go visit. The roads are very narrow and there are a lot of cliff sides. My grandfather lived out there for a few years on a ranch which borders the Ishi trail. I have walked the Ishi trail and that is a beautiful experience as well. It runs along a river. The whole drive in there is pretty amazing you can see the valley below plus the Big Black Rock sticking out of the ground it looks more like its own mountain.... |

The O'Nite Park is located 3/4 mile east of Red Bluff near the Sacramento River just west of I-5. Convenient to Red Bluff stores and restaurants, O'Nite Park is a perfect jumping off point for side trips to white water and other Tehama County recreation areas. The Sacramento River and Reeds Creek are nearby. Sixteen miles away, Antelope Creek features a glorious whitewater paddling spot. Bidwell Mansion State Park is well worth a trip, or you might opt for getting drenched paddling on Cottonwood Creek which feeds into to the South Fork of the Klamath River. If you prefer golf you can head to the Oak Creek Golf Course...just two miles from O'Nite. There are lots of choices. Everyone loves the Woodsen State Park and along Battle Creek, the whitewater paddling is terrific. In Summer, temperatures at the O'Nite Park reach the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. High temperatures during winter are normally in the 50's with nighttime lows sometimes dropping into the 30's. Rain is sporadic between mid-October and April.
