Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. Mono Creek is a good whitewater spot in the vicinity of Arrowhead Lake, and Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada is a nice site to get some rest.                Fork. You ought to certainly dedicate some time to Graveyard Meadow if you're here at Arrowhead Lake, needless to say you could also go to Feather Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
This lake is so wonderful. Arrowhead Lake is not the only spot close by, Shelf Lake is a close by lake, and if you need a site to stay Snowcreek Resort is a good choice. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. What would winter be without some skiing at Sierra Summit; there's good hiking along the Red Mountain Trail. You completely have to love Arrowhead Lake.
Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Arrowhead Lake. Gotta ski! Mammoth Mountain is a nice place to do that, and a great site to camp here at Arrowhead Lake is Upper Vermillion Campground. It is very dehydrated here at Arrowhead Lake commonly; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is June. Don't leave Arrowhead Lake without first going for a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail, and Devils Postpile National Monument is a very good site to pop by.

Bear Twin Lakes
Great place to visit! A must see for all families and tourists! The awe and marvel at the beauty of the lake is indescribable! My family had an awsome experience and Joey, Anisa, and Diana ( my children) all would love to go back!  Bear Twin Lakes is not a place to miss! Just watch out for the occasional black bear!...

Jackass's Meadows Campground
I've been to the campground and it is a great area; however, it is NOT an arid environment as the description says.? It is located at over 7000 feet in a forested area.? In addition, there is NO access to Devils Postpile (or the Mammoth area, as is implied by the lodging links). The campground is located at the end of the road and there is no road pass over the Sierra anywhere in this area. This campground is seasonal and is snowed in completely in the winter. ...

Rainbow Lake
17 miles away
Rainbow lake, as well as numerous other lakes in the Dinkey Lakes Wilderness Area are well worth the moderate effort it takes to visit. Rainbow lake itself is cupped between a low granite ridge and a steeper, curving granite wall. It is a beautifully clear lake populated with large numbers of rainbow trout which I assume gave it the name. Information, registration, and restrictions can all be obtained at the Ranger station located in the town of Prather. We camp at this lake at least twice a year, and it is always one of my favorites....
