     This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Arndt Lake, you could also stop by nearby Rock Island Lake, and going for a hike on the Ten Lakes Trail is always a good adventure. A lake nearby is Surprise Lake, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tuolumne River. And if that's not enough there's loads more amusing stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Go for a hike on the John Muir Trail - section  
   1, and West Walker River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. Near Arndt Lake you locate the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 which is a pleasant hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Arndt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tenaya Lake Campground is a good location for that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This place, Arndt Lake, it simply
 
               has so much outdoors amusing stuff. From Arndt Lake you get a wonderful vista of Acker Peak; if you need a place to stay dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a glorious choice.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Arndt Lake has to offer, you can camp at Paho Campground, and after a long day outdoors The Ahwahnee is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Through the warmest time of the year at Arndt Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Arndt Lake.
Arndt Lake is usually a pretty dried out place; the month with most of the rain is January while July is regularly the driest month.
