If you are traveling by, why not stop by Arctic Lake. Keeler Needle is something you shouldn't miss if you're here at Arctic Lake, and if you crave a little side spree, try Sheep Pass. Lots of people from Bishop come to Arctic Lake, and Symmes Creek Campground is a fine campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a fine spot to get some rest; if you've had enough of Arctic Lake, Guitar Lake is nearby.

| | is rather dehydrated ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is January, and October on the other hand is the driest. The Southern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Arctic Lake in fact is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. On a tremendous day at Arctic Lake you can take a hike along the Mount Whitney Trail; at Arctic Lake you can catch a glimpse of Crooks Peak.

Pacific Crest Trail - section 11 is a good hiking trail next to Arctic Lake; the landscape is dominated by the Sierra Nevada. Through the warm days of summer at Arctic Lake highs are commonly in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight
hours it's commonly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Arctic Lake during the wintertime frequently sink into the 20's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the
Southern Sierra Nevada has to offer. Kern River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Frontier Motel is a brilliant choice.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a great
hiking trail near Arctic Lake called the Sawtooth Pass Trail, and you can stay the night at Tuttle Creek Campground.
