Don't leave Apple Pond without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 6, and Howard Johnson Inn Victorville is a nice location to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Pelican Lake is around here. There's so much to do here at Apple Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Jess Ranch Lakes RV Resort is a perfect location for that. If you came to camp Mojave Narrow Regional Park is a good place to do that; there's pleasant hiking along the

| | Miller Canyon Trail. Apple Pond is a location that is reasonably dried up usually; most of the rain falls during February, and June is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Apple Pond during the warm months are in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Apple Pond temperatures fall to the 20's. The Cable Canyon Trail | |

offers hiking at its best. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. For you golfers we recommend close by Jess Ranch Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a great spot to spend
a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Apple Pond, you'll find Jess Lakes which is a beautiful lake, and the panorama of Bass Hill is picturesque.
