    Apollo Lake is a lake worth visiting. Apollo Lake is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada is a splendid location to get some rest; do set aside some time for Rosemarie Meadow if you're here at Apollo Lake. You completely have to go for Apollo Lake. Apollo Lake is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Lower Blayney Campground is  
   a fine site to camp nearby, and a charming lake like Bear Twin Lakes is a perfect site to stop at.
East Fork Bear Creek is a good local stream; a trip to Devils Postpile National Monument is worthwhile. Apollo Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Snowcreek Resort, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mammoth Mountain since you're here.
Hiking along the Red Mountain
 
               Trail is glorious fun, and the Sherwin Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back again and again. There's whitewater on San Joaquin River - South Fork for all you adrenaline kick people; do pop by Depressed Lake, it's a lovely lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Apollo Lake has to offer, you can camp at Upper Vermillion Campground; skiing at Sierra Summit is one of those things you just should do.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. Get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Mono Creek, and Apollo Lake is right by the Mammoth Rock Trail. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. All through the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 70's at Apollo Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Apollo Lake temperatures sink to the 20's.
