In California there are many beautiful lakes, Apollo Lake is one of them. That right there is a lot of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. If you need a spot to stay Snowcreek Resort is a great choice, and East Fork Bear Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Sierra Summit, and there are other locations here than Apollo Lake, for
example Orchid Lake. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River - South Fork; Apollo Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Vermillion Campground is a splendid local campground.
Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go back home again. A journey to Rosemarie Meadow revives the soul, and obviously, all our

national parks are wonderful places to pop by and Devils Postpile National Monument is no exception. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Apollo Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Apollo Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Apollo Lake. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and the Mammoth Rock Trail offers hiking at its best.
Apollo Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not go to Cirque Lake in the neighborhood of Apollo Lake, and Apollo Lake is right by the Red Mountain Trail. Apollo Lake is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is June.
I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Apollo Lake. Mono Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and great skiing awaits you at Mammoth Mountain. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Apollo Lake; Sherwin Lakes Trail is a glorious local trail. There's so much to do here at Apollo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lower Blayney Campground is a perfect location for that.
