One of the major highlights of the surroundings of Anona Lake is Granite Stairway, and after a long day outdoors 1849 Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge is a good spot to spend a night or two. You can run the rapids of Mono Creek next to Anona Lake. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Anona Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Minaret       Falls Campground is a nice local campground, and the Sherwin Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of San Joaquin River - Middle Fork, and a perfect nearby hotel is Snowbird Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Very gorgeous scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Mammoth Mountain, and great hiking is available along the John Muir Trail - section 2. Anona                  Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. There's great hiking along the Mammoth Rock Trail, and lakes are such serene spots, why not check out Ashley Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Anona Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is January, and June meanwhile is the driest month. You clearly should fancy the Central Sierra Nevada. Camping at Reds Meadow Campground is always a magnificent experience, and there are other places here than Anona Lake, for example Gertrude Lake. During the summer months here at Anona Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Anona Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Anona Lake has it all. Gotta ski!
