Camping is available at Reds Meadow Campground, and do set aside some time for Stairway Meadow since you're here at Anona Lake. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more exciting stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada.       If the weather is delightful, you acquire a nice panorama of Granite Stairway from Anona Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Snowbird Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge. Not far from Anona Lake, you'll come across Ashley Lake which is a wonderful lake, and Mammoth Mountain Inn is a good place to get some rest. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. While you're here at Anona Lake you can                  take a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail, and paddling on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork is so much fun. Glide down the rapids of Mono Creek in a kayak. Anona Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; January is when you get the most rain here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Mammoth Mountain has perfect slopes and a friendly staff; a great place to camp here at Anona Lake is Minaret Falls Campground. This lake is so wonderful. On a magnificent day at Anona Lake you can take a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail. Lakes are perfect; Gertrude Lake is a lake that's near Anona Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. The warmest time of the year at Anona Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
