It's always fun to stop by Anne Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The vista of Triple Divide Peak from Anne Lake is beautiful. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Upper Chiquito Campground is a tremendous campground here, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Half Dome Trail.
Fernandez Pass is a perfect place to check out in the vicinity of Anne Lake, and since you're

| | here, you could stop at Fernandez Creek. From a precipitation point of view Anne Lake is a quite common place; January is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you need a place to stay Yosemite Lodge at the Falls is a great choice; since you're here you can take a hike along the Clouds Rest Trail.

John Muir Trail - section 1, and whitewater paddling is nice on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. High temperatures at Anne Lake throughout the summer months are in the 80's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, commonly in
the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Anne Lake. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is abundant here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Camping at Anne Lake is magnificent
fun, Bowler Group Campground is a magnificent local campground; after a long day outdoors Wawona Hotel is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Anne Lake, you could also take
a look at picturesque Alpine Lake; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Merced River - South Fork.
