Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. If you need a spot to stay dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a great choice, and perfect hiking is available along the Clouds Rest Trail. And that's not all the things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. From Anne Lake you get a wonderful view of Triple Divide Peak, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always       go whitewater paddling on Merced River - South Fork. A quick spree to Fernandez Creek near Anne Lake is a delightful idea, and Fernandez Pass is another tremendous place to stop at nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Anne Lake has to offer, you can camp at Upper Chiquito Campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Anne Lake; John Muir Trail - section 1 is a splendid local trail.                  You could also stop by Rutherford Lake since you're here at Anne Lake; it's close by, and San Joaquin River - Middle Fork has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. Anne Lake gets a normal amount of rain; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Half Dome Trail; if you've had enough of Anne Lake, Alpine Lake is nearby. At Anne Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Anne Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
