The beauty of Andrews Lake is reason enough to stop by. While you're here at Andrews Lake you can take a hike along the Ten Lakes Trail, and nearby you come across Jack Main Canyon which is a wonderful place to explore. Andrews Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful.
During the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Andrews Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime

| | come with highs in the 40's; overnight lows at Andrews Lake through the wintertime mostly plunge into the 20's. Just can't get enough of Andrews Lake. Everybody close by loves skiing at Badger Pass; you're probably hooked on lakes, Ardeth Lake is one of those close by. Andrews Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is commonly the driest month.

good hiking trail close to Andrews Lake, and why not camp at Hetch Hetchy Campground if you're here at Andrews Lake. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
Tuolumne River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Hetch Hetchy Trail. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Whitewater
paddling is perfect on Cherry Creek - West Fork, and Dodge Ridge is a splendid local ski area.
A great spot to camp here at Andrews Lake is Hetch Hetchy Backpackers Campground, and the peak of Andrews Peak can be seen from Andrews Lake.
