The beauty of Amel Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Solage is a magnificent site to get some rest; if you've had enough of Amel Lake, Wildcat Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The annual precipitation here at Amel Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. Jim Davis Peak is easy to spot from Amel Lake, and you can stay the night at Aztec River Grove RV/Trailer Park. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cache Creek; possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lower Bohn Lake is just a very short distance away. the 50's, and overnight lows through the winter for Amel Lake tend to be in the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's some flowing water close by, Bucksnort Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here,
and Amel Lake is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Hidden Valley Lake Campground is a brilliant location to camp nearby.
