Sure, Valor Lake is around here, and going for a hike on the Don Cecil Trail is always a delightful adventure. Ambition Lake is a location that is pretty waterless regularly; January is the month that gets the most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Ambition Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Kings River - Middle Fork, and North Lake Campground       is a great local campground. Summer at Ambition Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Ambition Lake. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Central Sierra Nevada is so good! Bighorn Lake is a magnificent lake near Ambition Lake; close by you find the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section which is a splendid hiking                  trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. If time allows, Devils Postpile National Monument is a national park worth stopping at. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Blackcap Basin is a good location, and you can go for a hike on the Sheep Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
