This lake is so wonderful. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Don Cecil Trail, and paddling on Kings River - Middle Fork is so much fun. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada. Hiking along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section is pleasant fun; why not camp at Sabrina Campground while you're here at Ambition Lake. Devils Postpile National Monument       is a very glorious place to pop by close to Ambition Lake; a nice location to camp here at Ambition Lake is North Lake Campground. Not much precipitation falls here at Ambition Lake; most of the rain falls during January; June is the month with the least moisture. All through the long summer days, highs generally are in the 70's at Ambition Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's,                  and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Ambition Lake plunge into the 20's. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. You can catch a glimpse of Mount Reinstein from Ambition Lake, and Battalion Lake is a nice lake nearby. Ambition Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the neighborhood of Ambition Lake has to offer.
