Altha Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. High temperatures at Altha Lake throughout the warm months are in the 90's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Altha Lake tend to be in the 20's. Altha Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a       charming outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is great on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork, and do take a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. The John Muir Trail - section 2 offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Altha Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trailer Park Campground is a perfect place for that. If you need a location to stay Heidelberg Inn is a                  tremendous choice; Mammoth Mountain is a very popular ski area in close proximity. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is plentiful here in the Central Sierra Nevada. 1849 Condos at Canyon Lodge is a brilliant site to get some rest, and Altha Lake is right by the Mammoth Rock Trail. Nearby Agnew Pass is a great location to go if you're at Altha Lake. Lakes? Sure, Badger Lakes is in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. The yearly precipitation here at Altha Lake is about average; January is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful.
