Alstot Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. An average amount of rainfall falls at Alstot Lake; January is the month that gets the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Granite Creek Campground while you're here at Alstot Lake, and San Joaquin River - Middle Fork has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by.

| | is perfect fun, Minaret Falls Campground is a perfect local campground, and there are other sites here than Alstot Lake, for example Ashley Lake. At Alstot Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. the John Muir Trail - section 2 is pleasant fun, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Mono Creek.
If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Alstot Lake. If the weather is great here at Alstot Lake, you
can go for a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and stunning scenery and good skiing is what you obtain at June Mountain. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. After
a long day outdoors Heidelberg Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two; you must without doubt dedicate some time to Cargyle Meadow while you're here at Alstot Lake.
Going for a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail will let
you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and dry warm beds await you at 1849 Condos at Canyon Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of lovely Iron Mountain near Alstot Lake is glorious, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mammoth Mountain if you're here.
