A pleasant journey to Upper Canyon Creek Meadows is a great way to spend an afternoon, and there's whitewater on Canyon Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Alpine Lake is one of the lakes here in the Klamath Mountains. The sight of Little Granite Peak from Alpine Lake is striking; a good spot to camp here at Alpine Lake is Ripstein Campground. | | you're here at Alpine Lake, and Little Lake is a fine lake nearby. During the summer at Alpine Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Alpine Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
