    Alpine Lake is a lake worth visiting. Having a brilliant time in the Klamath Mountains is trouble-free. Do set aside some time for Upper Canyon Creek Meadows while you're here at Alpine Lake; Little Granite Peak is picturesque and can be made out from here. Summer at Alpine Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the  
   20's overnight here at Alpine Lake. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Alpine Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July.
The Deacon Lee Trail offers hiking at its best. Lakes are brilliant; Smith Lake is a lake that's close to Alpine Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Trinity
 
               River - North Fork. There's so much to do here at Alpine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big Flat Campground is a magnificent site for that.
In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Canyon Creek. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Alpine Lake has to offer, you can camp at Ripstein Campground. All the outdoors entertaining things right next door to Alpine Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Visiting Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
