Alpine Lake

Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. A lake close by is Fantail Lake, and after a long day outdoors Virginia Creek Settlement is a great spot to spend a night or two. White Mountain is a peak you can see from Alpine Lake, and camping is available at Trailhead Group.
If you came for an overnight stay Saddlebag Campground is a fine site to camp. If by chance you are trying to locate a marina, Grant Lake Marina-campground
is around here, and a fishing trip to nearby Sierra FLY Guide is always a nice idea. What a place this is for outdoors people. June Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood; you could always discover Lundy Pass.
