From a precipitation point of view Alcohol Jacks Reservoir is a reasonably normal spot; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Bainbridge Reservoir, and you can stay the night at Rocky Campground. Through the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 90's at Alcohol Jacks       Reservoir, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Alcohol Jacks Reservoir. There's good hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Alcohol Jacks Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Bridge Campground. Good hiking is available along the Chaos Crags Trail, and Pit River is a perfect whitewater spot                  nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. All year is a great time in the Southern Cascade Range if you adore the outdoors. Go for a hike on the Bunchgrass Trail; you can run the rapids of Pit River. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Alcohol Jacks Reservoir.
