Camping at Casa Malpais Campground is always a pleasant experience. Lakes? Sure, Wiregrass Lake is nearby. For the duration of the months of summer at Woods Lake highs are mostly in the 90's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, usually in the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 40's with temperatures at Woods Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Woods Lake gets very little rain; the month of August is

A good close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn-Springerville; Woods Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Lyman Lake State Park is a brilliant local campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area near Woods Lake has to offer. What would winter be without some skiing at Sunrise Park. This lake is so wonderful. attraction, and not far from Woods Lake you'll hit upon Straddling Lake which is a gorgeous lake. If you're here, you might as well explore Atascocita Draw, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn St. Johns is a great choice.
