Willow Spring is a striking spot to go to while you're at White Horse Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Dorsey Spring Trail. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Verde River. This lake is so wonderful. Williams is a very popular ski area close by; while you're here you can take a hike along the Little Lookout Trail. Since       you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Scholz Lake, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Williams Super 8 Motel. There's so much to do here at White Horse Lake that you need to camp here for a while, White Horse Lake Campground is a nice spot for that, and if you need a site to stay Quality Inn Mountain Ranch & Resort is a brilliant choice. Not much precipitation falls here at White Horse Lake; the month of August is the wettest                  with most of the rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. Here at White Horse Lake you can see Ruin Mountain, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Winter Cabin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Sunflower Flat, and White Horse Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Dogtown Campground is a pleasant local campground. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Big Spring Canyon is a delightful place to pop by right next door to White Horse Lake; unsurprisingly, this is a splendid neighborhood for people who like lakes, JD Dam Lake is a lake nearby. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at White Horse Lake get into the 80's; the night is somewhat cooler of course, mostly in the 50's.
